Steeped in political history and magnificently preserved, Lancaster House has a wide range of rooms, a large garden, facilities for satellite links, IT equipment, simultaneous translation and disabled access. The house is the perfect backdrop for any occasion from an intimate dinner to an international summit. The house also has a glamorous side: the Long Gallery has been used for receptions for London Fashion Week. In 1999 Merchant Ivory filmed Henry James' 'The Golden Bowl' in the Grand Hall and the Music Room.
