LSO St Luke’s is situated on Old Street, EC1 in the heart of central London. It easily accessible and can be reached from Liverpool, Old Street and Farringdon stations. Considered by many to be Nicholas Hawksmoor’s and John James finest creations LSO provides the most unique setting in which to hold an event. Steeped in history-St Luke’s was one of the last churches to be constructed in the City of London due to the Churches Act of 1711. Standing as a superb 18th century Grade 1 listed building LSO Discovery has gone through careful restoration to become the home for music education. It is now the base for the London Symphony Orchestra’s comprehensive and revolutionary education programme. The new design preserves many of the buildings original attributes including the walls and window alcoves, the delightful church clock has been renovated and the flaming golden dragon restored to the top of the spire. Overall St Luke’s is ideal for events wishing to make the best use of the excellent and multi purpose facilities. Jerwood Hall Is the largest space within LSO. The original 18th century décor is blended with modern features to create a distinctive and atmospheric setting. A balcony surrounds the higher level of the hall with two stylish spiral staircases that lead you down to an attractive wooden floor. The space is brightened by natural light which is allowed through from the delightful Baroque windows. Crypt Level Forms the lower level of LSO and provides a range of brilliantly designed spaces that can be used either in union with or separately from the Jerwood hall. Clore Rooms Both rooms are versatile and are equipped with state-of-the-art communications technology. They can be used as separate rooms and are suitable for seating in boardroom or theater style.
